A night tour of Madame Tussauds is heck-of-scary, but here’s one thing more petrifying than that: damaged camera gear.
That same stuff Miss T uses will calm all your photo fears!
A DIY waxed camera bag will keep your lenses and camera bodies safe, sound, *and* dry.
Our buddy Allen Mowery put together this fantastic tutorial on how to make a water-resistant camera bag with grocery store wax, a messenger bag, and a camera bag insert.
The waxed canvas will add to that rugged mountain-man/lady look you pull off so well!

Adobe updated Raw support for Fujifilm X-Trans tested



The latest release candidates of Adobe Camera Raw (7.4) and Lightroom (4.4) include improved demosaicing logic for Fujifilm's X-Trans sensor cameras, including the flagship X-Pro1. We found previous ACR versions struggled with fine detail and color accuracy, so were anxious to re-process our X-Pro1 files in ACR 7.4 RC. Is this the update X-Pro1 owners have been waiting for? Fixed Issues

The following issues have been fixed in Lightroom 4.4 release candidate:

The crop overlay tool resized incorrectly when used in conjunction with the “Constrain to Crop” checkbox in the Lens Correction panel
Background graphics were not correctly rendered within the Book Module
The supplied lens profile for the Sony RX-1 did not contain vignette information
Previews of photos in portrait orientation were blurry when viewed in the filmstrip in the Develop module. (Mac only)
Stack badges displayed the wrong count when creating new stack that included a preexisting stack.
The Filter scrollbar within the Library module was not rendering properly.
