JUST MY "TWO CENTS" ON THE GREAT IMAGES THAT COME OUT OF THE
FUJI X-PRO1
I've been reading and reading about what a great CCD Fuji managed to put together. My system is all Nikon FX, and i was really curious about this great image quality and the chance to substantially reduce the "weight on my back" with a smaller, lighter camera/system. So as others before me, it seems i found it!!
what an amazing crisp images you get from this camera, here are two non edited direct from the camera jpg's:
iso1250 1/125s 17mm (tamron 17-35mm w/nikon adapter)
iso400 1/250s 17mm (tamron 17-35mm w/nikon adapter)
And two more edited through Capture One 7
Fujinon XF 35mm 1.4 iso200 1/2000s f/6.4
Fujinon XF 35mm 1.4 iso500 1/250s f/2
a lot have been said about the autofocus, but i didn't find any problems with it, well...nothing that can not be managed it's just a matter of adjust yourself to the way the camera works. Even with the Nikon 50mm 1.4 you have focus issues, and it's still one my favorite lens.
On the other side, the X-pro1 is a really cool camera ;), the way you use a rangefinder is really different, for someone used to a dslr, just makes you slow down and take your time thinking on the composition, light, etc.
Next step is putting it through a weeding...
my "two cents", thanks
